Server Assist Overlays

To follow on from the last blog post, I made a google code page for the server assist overlays. This is a demonstration of how to use GDAL to build geo-referenced images and pixel maps for user interaction on the fly.

This allows for lots and lots of polygons/lines/points to be drawn and still allows the user to interact. This is useful for when your data is too large for the javascript overlays of google maps to handle.
